Just north of Venezuela, in the dreamy Caribbean, you will find the little island of Aruba. Due to its location, the island escapes the horrid hurricane season during the summer, and functions as a great getaway when the cold winter hits in other areas of the world. The beaches

Of course, spending time on a Caribbean island means loads of time basking in the sun, feeling the soft sand amongst your toes, and splashing away in the beautiful calm ocean. Aruba plays host to an array of sandy beaches, and you are sure to find a favorite.

  • Divi Divi Trees @ Eagle Beach, ArubaEagle Beach is probably the most famous one. Once listed as one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, Eagle Beach is simply stunning. Visitors are greeted by two very characteristic Divi-Divi trees, and a peaceful atmosphere. Although Beachside Dinning @ Eagle Beach, Arubathere are many tourists here, the masses seem to stay away. It might be due to the fact that Eagle Beach is home to the smaller low-rise hotels, and none of them are situated directly on the beach.
  • Palm Beach. This is tourist central, and also where the high-rise hotels are to be found. There is nothing like the feeling of smooth waves washing over your feet, while you hold the hand of a loved one.
  • Arashi  Beach is a favorite amongst the locals. It is a bit of a drive from the major hotel areas, but completely worth it. From the divine beach there is a stunning view to the California Lighthouse.

After a couple of hours in the tough wind on Arubas north side, you will know what it means.

And where the west side of Aruba is like seeing postcard images come to life, the north side is most likely going to be the bumpiest ride of your life. And the most fun! The jeep tours are able to take visitors through rugged terrain which otherwise is hard to manage on your own. Do not miss out on seeing the wonderful island of Aruba; there really is no better way to experience it than with a jeep safari.

The StripDinning @ Palm Beach, Aruba

Once you have washed the sand off your feet, and the sun is about to set, head towards the famous “Strip” for delicious food and sweet drinks. The Strip is aligned right along the high-Aruba Downtownrise hotels, and offers amazing food from all corners of the world. Wacky Wahoo’s, a little restaurant not too far from the Strip, is a personal favorite.

In the evening the night market also opens at the Strip, allowing for shopping into the late hours. The little market stalls sell colorful jewelry, creative pottery and all sorts of souvenirs.


Wedding @ Palm Beach, ArubaAruba is the perfect place for romance. With such an idyllic atmosphere and seOld Man & The Sea, Arubarene beaches, Aruba has managed to rise to the top of the list as far as romantic destinations go. Do not be surprised if you come across a beach wedding or two during your stay. Most hotels cater to lovebirds, and will go above and beyond to make your trip remarkable.

If you are in planning mode, looking for a way to treat you better half to a memorable night, look no further than The Old Man and The Sea. This charming restaurant is nestled right on the beach, and all tables come with a gorgeous ocean view. Kick off your shoes and enjoy the feeling of the mellow sand while enjoying fresh lobster tail and a bottle of soothing white wine.

For those celebrating a special occasion or even looking to propose, there is a private cabana at this restaurant. With it comes its own little landing stage, a beautiful stretch of sand, and a server who will cater to your every need.
